Kasumi Japanese Knives

Kasumi Knives come from Seki Japan, a city with a rich history of producing some of the finest Japanese swords. This heritage is present in every Kasumi knife. The Damascus pattern found on Kasumi knives is produced through forging stainless steel into multiple layers providing a beautiful appearance and lasting durability.

The main cutting blade of Kasumi knives is made of V-Gold No. 10 high carbon stainless steel. The blades are hardened to Rockwell C59 60 degrees, therefore keep a sharper edge longer than other knives. On both sides of the main cutting blade, the fine stainless steel pattern is clad. Each knife is carefully finished throughout each step of the manufacturing process by the hands of skilled craftsmen. The beauty of the Kasumi pattern together with the strong black laminated wooden handles makes these knives look graceful yet remain strong and great for any type of cooking.
