Kasumi knives are made in Seki, the sword making capital of Japan.

The Kasumi blade is carbon stainless steel that has been developed especially for knives. Hardened to a Rockwell hardness of C59-60 and therefore maintaining a sharp edge.

The blades clad with Damascus stainless steel. Developed by the repeated folding and forging of 32 layers, the Damascus pattern on the blade is not only visually appealing, but is also acts as a strengthening force.

Traditional techniques and a specially developed steel are used to produce an excellent range of knives with super sharp edges.

Kasumi knives and made in the traditional Japanese manner - by the continous folding and forging of thin layers of steel.
